Today, AEON Seremban 2 is having a survey on HSR Project in Seremban. If you like to know more about this HSR project, go visit them today !
Kuala Lumpur – Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) was initiated through the Economic Transformation Programme to transform Malaysia into a high-income nation.
This Project will consist of 7 stations in Malaysia, which are, Bandar Malaysia, Bangi-Putrajaya, Seremban, Melaka, Muar, Batu Pahat and Iskandar Puteri, before reaching its last destination in Jurong East, Singapore.
Through this project, the public will be able to enjoy a shorter travelling time, 90 minutes from KL to Singapore, and 60 minutes or 1 hour from Seremban to Singapore and vice versa.
The train will be operating at a speed of 320KM/H at a distance of 350km.
Recently, it is announced that there will be a new train alignment for Seremban station to avoid residential area being acquired.
The new alignment will be from Melaka and mainly passing by oil palm plantations, the Jimah area (Port Dickson) onwards to Sendayan, Gadong Jaya and to Labu (Seremban) and that is where the HSR station for Seremban will be built.
This is no mean feat as Seremban is all set to become one of the world’s elite cities that has a HSR station. Seremban is set to be catapulted to join the ranks of HSR cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing and Paris, which are pioneers of the HSR.
It is a well-known fact that whenever a HSR train stops at a certain town, the economic status of the city as well as the standard of living of the people around it will grow many fold.
This is what happened to the sleepy town of Daejeon in South Korea, which transformed into a transportation hub as soon it was announced that it would be one of the stopover stations for Korea’s HSR.
